Job description
Wellstar is seeking a Lead Sonographer to guide high-quality diagnostic ultrasound services within our integrated, patient-centered health system. This role performs advanced imaging exams, oversees sonographers, and ensures adherence to safety and accreditation standards. The Lead Sonographer collaborates closely with radiologists, providers, and interdisciplinary teams to support accurate diagnosis and excellent patient experiences. Responsibilities include mentoring staff, optimizing workflows and imaging protocols, supporting continuous education, and contributing to quality and performance initiatives that advance community health outcomes.
