Job description
Wellstar Health System seeks a Lead Sonographer to provide expert diagnostic ultrasound imaging and team leadership in a patient-focused environment. This role performs advanced sonographic exams, verifies patient histories, and ensures adherence to imaging protocols and safety standards. The Lead Sonographer coordinates daily workflow, mentors technologists and students, supports quality and process improvement, and collaborates closely with radiologists, providers, and nursing teams to deliver accurate, timely results that improve outcomes for diverse patient populations across our Georgia facilities.
