Job description
WellStar is seeking a Lead Sonographer to provide advanced diagnostic ultrasound services and guide a high-performing imaging team. In this role, you will perform and oversee complex exams, ensure excellent image quality, and support accurate diagnoses in a patient-centered environment. You will coordinate daily workflow, mentor staff and students, and collaborate closely with radiologists and providers across WellStar’s hospitals and care sites. The Lead Sonographer champions safety, compliance, and continuous quality improvement while modeling compassionate care and supporting community health.
