Job description
Wellstar is seeking a Lead Sonographer to provide expert diagnostic ultrasound services and guide a collaborative imaging team. In this role, you will perform and oversee a full range of ultrasound exams, ensuring high-quality images, patient safety, and adherence to protocols across Wellstar’s hospitals and care centers. You will coordinate daily workflow, mentor technologists, support quality improvement, and work closely with radiologists and providers. This position offers access to advanced imaging technology, continuing education, and career growth within a large, patient-centered health system.
