Job description
Wellstar is seeking a Lead Sonographer to provide expert diagnostic ultrasound services and team leadership across its integrated health system. This role performs complex vascular, abdominal, OB/GYN, and small-parts imaging while ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. The Lead Sonographer coordinates daily workflow, mentors staff, and supports training and competency assessments. In Wellstar’s collaborative, patient-focused environment, this position partners with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams to deliver accurate, timely results that improve community health outcomes.
