Job description
Wellstar Health System seeks a Lead Sonographer to provide advanced diagnostic ultrasound services and team leadership within our patient-centered, not-for-profit system. This role performs complex vascular, abdominal, OB/GYN, and small-parts exams using evidence-based protocols, ensuring excellent image quality and patient safety. The Lead Sonographer mentors staff, supports scheduling and workflow, coordinates with radiologists and providers, and promotes best practices in infection control, documentation, and equipment care.
