Job description
Wellstar is seeking a Lead Sonographer to provide expert diagnostic ultrasound services and guide a high-performing imaging team. In this role, you will perform and oversee a wide range of ultrasound exams, ensuring high-quality images, accurate measurements, and thorough documentation to support timely clinical decisions. You will coordinate daily workflow, mentor technologists and students, and collaborate closely with radiologists, nurses, and providers in a patient-focused, interdisciplinary environment. The position supports quality improvement initiatives, equipment maintenance, and may provide coverage across Wellstar facilities in Georgia.
