Job description
Wellstar Health System seeks a Lead Sonographer to oversee high-quality diagnostic ultrasound services across its patient-centered care settings. This role performs and coordinates complex exams, ensuring accurate imaging, safety, and compassionate care. The Lead Sonographer supervises and mentors staff, manages scheduling, and supports onboarding and ongoing education. Working closely with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams, this leader promotes protocol adherence, quality improvement, and adoption of advanced imaging technologies to improve outcomes for diverse communities in Georgia.
