Job description
Wellstar is seeking a Lead Sonographer to provide expert diagnostic ultrasound services while guiding a collaborative, patient-centered imaging team. In this role, you will perform and oversee a wide range of ultrasound exams, ensuring high-quality images, adherence to protocols, and a safe, compassionate environment. You will coordinate daily workflow, support scheduling and room utilization, and collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other clinicians to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. The Lead Sonographer mentors staff, supports competencies and education, promotes process improvements, and helps maintain accreditation and regulatory standards across Wellstar’s advanced care settings.
