Job description
Wellstar Health System seeks a Lead Sonographer to guide high-quality diagnostic ultrasound services across our patient-centered care settings. In this role, you will perform complex ultrasound exams, oversee daily workflow, and serve as a clinical resource for sonographers and students. You will collaborate closely with radiologists, physicians, and nursing teams to ensure accurate imaging, timely results, and exceptional patient experiences. Responsibilities include mentoring staff, supporting protocol and quality initiatives, maintaining equipment readiness, and contributing to a culture of safety, compassion, and continuous learning within our integrated health system.
