Job description
Wellstar is seeking a Lead Sonographer to guide a high-performing ultrasound team delivering compassionate, patient-centered imaging care. Based within our integrated Georgia health system, this role performs and oversees a full range of diagnostic ultrasound exams, ensuring clinical quality, safety, and accuracy. The Lead Sonographer coordinates workflow, mentors technologists, and partners closely with radiologists, physicians, and nurses. You will support protocol development, quality improvement, and staff education while promoting a collaborative culture focused on excellence, integrity, inclusion, and continuous learning across diverse care settings.
