Job description
Wellstar is seeking a Lead Sonographer to provide expert diagnostic ultrasound services and guide a collaborative imaging team. In this role, you will perform and oversee a full range of ultrasound exams, ensuring accurate, timely, and patient-centered imaging across care settings. You will coordinate workflow, mentor sonographers and students, maintain equipment quality, and support safety and regulatory standards. Working closely with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams, you’ll contribute to quality improvement, protocol development, and continuous learning that advances community health.
