Job description
As a Lead Sonographer at Wellstar, you will provide advanced diagnostic ultrasound services while guiding a team of sonographers in a high-quality, patient-centered environment. You will perform and oversee complex imaging studies, ensure adherence to clinical protocols, and collaborate closely with radiologists and multidisciplinary care teams to support accurate diagnoses and treatment decisions. This role leads daily workflow, staff scheduling, training, and competency development, while promoting a culture of safety, inclusion, and continuous improvement. You will help optimize imaging standards, maintain equipment readiness, and support innovation across Wellstar’s diverse hospitals and care settings, directly impacting community health outcomes.
