Job description
Wellstar is seeking a Lead Sonographer to provide expert diagnostic ultrasound services while guiding a high-performing imaging team. In this role, you will perform and oversee a wide range of ultrasound exams, ensuring accurate, high-quality images and compassionate, patient-centered care. You’ll coordinate daily workflow, mentor sonographers, and collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and nurses to support timely clinical decisions. The Lead Sonographer also champions quality improvement, staff education, and equipment optimization within Wellstar’s collaborative, mission-driven environment.
