Job description
Wellstar is seeking a Lead Sonographer to provide expert diagnostic ultrasound services and guide a high-performing imaging team. In this on-site role, you will perform and oversee a full range of ultrasound exams, ensuring exceptional image quality, accurate documentation, and safe, patient-centered care. You will coordinate workflow, support radiologists and providers, and serve as a clinical resource for sonographers. The Lead Sonographer helps train staff, supports quality and regulatory initiatives, and contributes to process improvements across Wellstar’s collaborative, community-focused health system.
