Job description
Wellstar is seeking a Lead Sonographer to provide advanced diagnostic ultrasound services and guide a high-performing imaging team. In this role, you’ll perform complex ultrasound exams, ensure exceptional image quality, and support accurate, timely diagnosis for patients across our Georgia care network. You will coordinate daily workflow, mentor and precept sonographers and students, and champion safety, quality, and service standards. Working in a collaborative, patient-focused environment, you’ll partner with radiologists, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams, contribute to protocol development and quality improvement, and help advance compassionate, community-centered care.
