Job description
Wellstar is seeking a Lead Sonographer to provide expert diagnostic ultrasound services and guide a high-performing imaging team. In this role, you will perform complex vascular, obstetric, abdominal, and small-parts studies using advanced equipment while ensuring exam accuracy, safety, and comfort for every patient. You will coordinate daily workflow, support staffing and room utilization, and collaborate closely with radiologists, nurses, and providers. The Lead Sonographer mentors staff and students, supports protocol and technology updates, and participates in quality improvement across Wellstar’s integrated care settings.
