Job description
Wellstar is seeking a Lead Sonographer to provide advanced diagnostic ultrasound imaging and team leadership across its Georgia care sites. In this role, you will perform complex exams, ensure image quality and patient safety, and coordinate daily workflow for sonographers. You will mentor staff, support students, and collaborate closely with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care. The Lead Sonographer also contributes to equipment maintenance, protocol optimization, and quality initiatives, with access to ongoing education and career growth in a large not-for-profit system.
