Job description
Wellstar is seeking a Lead Sonographer to provide expert diagnostic ultrasound services and guide a collaborative imaging team. In this role, you will perform and oversee complex sonographic exams, ensure image quality, and support accurate clinical decisions across a variety of patient populations. You will coordinate workflow, assist with scheduling priorities, and help maintain ultrasound equipment. Partnering closely with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams, you’ll promote compassionate, patient-centered care while supporting staff training, protocol optimization, and continuous quality improvement within our integrated health system.
