Job description
Wellstar Health System is seeking a Lead Sonographer to guide high-quality ultrasound services within our patient-centered care teams. In this on-site leadership role, you will perform and oversee a wide range of diagnostic ultrasound exams, ensuring adherence to protocols, image quality, and patient safety. You will coordinate daily workflow, mentor and precept sonographers, support onboarding, and collaborate closely with radiologists and providers. The role includes supporting quality improvement, maintaining equipment readiness, and modeling compassionate, inclusive care for patients and families.
