Job description
Wellstar is seeking a Lead Sonographer to provide expert diagnostic ultrasound services and guide a high-performing imaging team in a patient-centered environment. In this role, you will perform and oversee complex ultrasound exams, ensuring high-quality images, accurate documentation, and compassionate care across diverse patient populations. You’ll coordinate daily workflow, mentor sonographers and students, and collaborate closely with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams to support optimal clinical decisions. The Lead Sonographer also supports quality improvement, equipment maintenance, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards across Wellstar care settings.
