Job description
WellStar is seeking a Lead Sonographer to provide expert diagnostic ultrasound imaging and clinical leadership across our Georgia care locations. This role performs and oversees high-quality exams, verifies orders, and ensures patient comfort while collaborating closely with radiologists and providers. The Lead Sonographer coordinates daily workflow, mentors team members, supports onboarding and education, and promotes adherence to safety and quality standards. You’ll help drive continuous improvement, support complex and advanced studies, and contribute to WellStar’s mission of delivering compassionate, patient-centered care to the communities we serve.
