Job description
Wellstar is seeking a Lead Sonographer to provide expert diagnostic ultrasound services and team leadership in a collaborative, patient-focused environment. This role performs complex vascular, abdominal, OB/GYN, and small-parts exams, ensuring image quality, patient safety, and compassionate care. The Lead Sonographer coordinates workflow, mentors staff, and supports onboarding and skills development across sites. Partnering closely with radiologists and interdisciplinary teams, this position helps optimize protocols, supports quality initiatives, and maintains equipment readiness.
