Job description
Wellstar Health System seeks a Lead Sonographer to provide expert diagnostic ultrasound imaging and team leadership across its Georgia care settings. In this role, you will perform and oversee high-quality exams, ensuring accurate images, patient safety, and compassionate, patient-centered experiences. You will coordinate daily workflow, mentor sonographers and students, and partner with radiologists and physicians to support timely diagnoses. The Lead Sonographer helps optimize protocols, supports quality and compliance, and contributes to continuous learning within a collaborative, mission-driven environment.
