Job description
Wellstar is seeking a Lead Sonographer to provide expert diagnostic ultrasound imaging and team leadership within our integrated, patient-centered health system. In this role, you will perform and oversee a wide range of ultrasound exams, ensuring high-quality images, safety, and compassionate care. You will mentor and schedule technologists, support training and competency, and collaborate closely with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams. The Lead Sonographer also helps optimize workflows, maintain equipment, and uphold accreditation and regulatory standards across care settings.
