Job description
Wellstar is seeking a Lead Sonographer to provide expert diagnostic ultrasound services and guide a high-performing imaging team in a collaborative, patient-focused environment. Based within our integrated, not-for-profit health system, this role performs and oversees complex ultrasound exams, optimizes image quality, and partners with physicians to support accurate diagnoses and improved outcomes. The Lead Sonographer mentors staff, coordinates workflow, supports quality initiatives, and upholds safety, regulatory, and infection-prevention standards across diverse hospital and outpatient care settings.
