Job description
Wellstar is seeking a Lead Sonographer to guide high-quality diagnostic ultrasound services across our Georgia care locations. In this role, you will perform complex ultrasound exams, oversee daily workflow, and mentor a team of sonographers. You will collaborate closely with radiologists and multidisciplinary care teams to support accurate diagnoses while ensuring compassionate, patient-centered experiences. The Lead Sonographer champions protocol compliance, equipment optimization, and quality improvement initiatives, while supporting staff education, competency development, and safe, efficient imaging operations.
