Job description
Wellstar is seeking a Lead Sonographer to provide expert diagnostic ultrasound services and team leadership across our integrated health system. In this role, you will perform and oversee a wide range of ultrasound exams, ensuring high-quality imaging, patient safety, and compassionate, patient-centered care. You will mentor sonographers, support onboarding and ongoing education, and collaborate closely with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams. The Lead Sonographer helps optimize workflows, maintain equipment, and drive continuous quality improvement in a collaborative, learning-focused environment.
