Job description
Wellstar is seeking a Lead Sonographer to provide expert diagnostic ultrasound imaging and team leadership within our patient-centered, not-for-profit health system. Based in Marietta, this role performs complex ultrasound exams, ensures adherence to clinical and safety protocols, and collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to support accurate diagnoses and high-quality outcomes. The Lead Sonographer mentors staff, supports onboarding and education, manages daily workflow and equipment utilization, and champions continuous quality improvement in a collaborative, compassionate environment with opportunities for growth across diverse care settings.
