Job description
Wellstar Health System seeks a Lead Sonographer to provide advanced diagnostic ultrasound services across our Georgia care locations. This role performs complex vascular, abdominal, OB/GYN, and small-parts exams while ensuring adherence to safety and imaging protocols. The Lead Sonographer coordinates daily workflow, mentors and trains sonography staff and students, and supports quality improvement and accreditation initiatives. Working in a collaborative, patient-focused environment, this position partners closely with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams to deliver compassionate, high-quality, patient-centered care and support positive community health outcomes.
