Job description
Wellstar Health System is seeking a Lead Sonographer to guide high-quality diagnostic ultrasound services within our patient-centered, not-for-profit system. This on-site role performs complex imaging exams, assures image quality, and supports accurate clinical decisions across specialties. The Lead Sonographer mentors and schedules staff, promotes a culture of compassion and inclusion, and partners with physicians and nurses to enhance patient outcomes. Responsibilities include quality improvement, equipment oversight, adherence to safety and regulatory standards, and supporting education and growth opportunities across Wellstar care settings.
