Job description
The Lead Sonographer oversees daily ultrasound operations while performing advanced imaging exams. This role provides clinical expertise, trains and guides sonography staff and students, and helps coordinate workflow and resources. The Lead Sonographer performs general, vascular, and/or cardiac ultrasound procedures, evaluates image quality, supports accreditation and quality assurance efforts, and ensures accurate documentation and coding, all while delivering safe, age-appropriate patient care in a clinical setting.
