Job description
Wellstar is seeking a Lead Sonographer to guide high-quality ultrasound imaging across our Georgia facilities. In this role, you’ll perform and oversee complex diagnostic ultrasound exams, ensuring accurate, patient-centered care in alignment with Wellstar’s mission. You will mentor and support sonography staff, coordinate daily workflow, and collaborate closely with radiologists, nurses, and providers. The Lead Sonographer manages image quality standards, supports equipment care and safety, upholds regulatory compliance, and contributes to ongoing education and process improvements within a collaborative, learning-focused culture.
