Job description
Wellstar is seeking a Lead Sonographer to guide high-quality diagnostic ultrasound services within our not-for-profit, patient-centered health system. This role performs complex exams, oversees daily workflow, and supports sonographers across care settings. The Lead Sonographer ensures accurate imaging, protocol adherence, and safe, compassionate care. Working closely with radiologists and interdisciplinary teams, this leader drives quality initiatives, maintains equipment readiness, mentors staff, and supports accreditation standards while advancing Wellstar’s mission to improve community health.
