Job description
WellStar is seeking a Lead Sonographer to provide expert diagnostic ultrasound imaging and guide a collaborative clinical team. In this leadership role, you will perform complex exams, ensure image quality and protocol compliance, and coordinate workflow across a busy hospital or outpatient setting. You will mentor and train sonographers and students, partner with radiologists and providers on care decisions, and champion patient-centered service. This position supports quality improvement, equipment oversight, and continuous learning in a mission-driven, community-focused health system.
