Job description
Wellstar is seeking a Lead Sonographer to provide expert diagnostic ultrasound services and team leadership within our integrated, patient-centered health system. Based in our Georgia facilities, this role performs advanced vascular, abdominal, OB/GYN, and small-parts studies while ensuring compassionate, safe care. The Lead Sonographer coordinates daily workflow, mentors technologists, and collaborates closely with radiologists and providers to support accurate diagnoses. The position supports quality improvement, protocol development, equipment oversight, and ongoing education in a collaborative, learning-focused environment.
