Job description
Wellstar is seeking a Lead Sonographer to guide high-quality diagnostic ultrasound services within our compassionate, patient-centered health system. In this key clinical leadership role, you will perform advanced ultrasound exams, oversee daily workflow, and serve as a resource to technologists and providers. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring sonography staff, optimizing exam quality and safety, coordinating schedules, and supporting accreditation and quality initiatives. You will collaborate closely with radiologists, nurses, and physicians while helping implement best practices, new technology, and ongoing education to improve patient outcomes.
