Job description
Wellstar Health System seeks a Lead Sonographer to provide expert diagnostic ultrasound services and guide a high-performing imaging team. In this role, you will perform and oversee a wide range of vascular, abdominal, OB/GYN, and small-parts studies, ensuring exam quality, patient safety, and adherence to protocols. You’ll mentor sonographers, support scheduling and workflow, collaborate closely with radiologists and care teams, and contribute to quality improvement and accreditation efforts. This position offers exposure to advanced imaging technology, ongoing education, and opportunities for career growth across Wellstar’s Georgia facilities.
