Job description
Wellstar is seeking a Lead Sonographer to guide high-quality ultrasound services across our Georgia facilities. In this role, you will perform advanced diagnostic ultrasound exams while overseeing daily workflow, staffing, and image quality. You will mentor sonographers, support orientation and ongoing training, and collaborate closely with radiologists, physicians, and nursing teams to deliver safe, compassionate, patient-centered care. The Lead Sonographer helps implement best practices, new technologies, and quality improvement initiatives in a collaborative, learning-focused environment with strong clinical resources and growth opportunities.
