Job description
Wellstar is seeking a Lead Sonographer to guide high-quality diagnostic ultrasound services across our Georgia care locations. In this role, you will perform complex ultrasound exams, oversee daily imaging workflow, and serve as a clinical resource to sonographers and providers. You’ll collaborate with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams to support accurate diagnoses and timely care. The Lead Sonographer upholds safety, quality, and regulatory standards while mentoring staff, supporting orientation and education, and promoting a culture of compassionate, patient-centered care and continuous improvement.
