Job description
Wellstar is seeking a Lead Sonographer to guide high-quality diagnostic ultrasound services within our compassionate, patient-centered health system. In this role, you will perform complex ultrasound exams, ensure image quality, and support accurate, timely diagnoses. You will oversee daily workflow, mentor and schedule sonography staff, and promote best practices in patient safety and infection control. Working closely with radiologists and interdisciplinary teams, you will contribute to protocol development, quality improvement, and accreditation efforts while supporting Wellstar’s mission to improve community health.
