Job description
Wellstar is seeking a Lead Sonographer to provide expert diagnostic ultrasound imaging and clinical leadership within our patient-centered health system. This role performs and oversees a wide range of vascular, abdominal, OB/GYN, and small-parts studies, ensuring high-quality images and accurate documentation. The Lead Sonographer mentors staff, supports onboarding and education, and collaborates with radiologists and interdisciplinary teams. You will help refine imaging protocols, support quality and safety initiatives, and contribute to a culture of compassion, inclusion, and continuous learning across Wellstar’s Georgia facilities.
