Job description
Wellstar is seeking a Lead Sonographer to provide expert diagnostic ultrasound imaging and guide a high-performing sonography team. In this role, you will perform and oversee complex exams, ensure image quality and accurate documentation, and collaborate closely with radiologists and providers to support timely, accurate diagnoses. You will coordinate workflow across multiple care settings, mentor staff, support protocol and quality improvements, and champion patient-centered care, safety, and inclusion as part of a collaborative, community-focused health system.
