Job description
Wellstar Health System is seeking a Lead Sonographer to oversee daily ultrasound operations in a high-volume, patient-centered environment. In this role, you will perform complex diagnostic ultrasound exams, ensuring high-quality imaging and accurate documentation in EMR/PACS. You will mentor and precept sonographers, support training and competency, and collaborate closely with radiologists, providers, and multidisciplinary teams. The Lead Sonographer helps optimize workflow, supports accreditation and quality initiatives, and upholds Wellstar’s values of compassion, integrity, and inclusion while serving diverse communities.
