Job description
Wellstar is seeking a Lead Sonographer to provide expert diagnostic ultrasound services and clinical leadership within our patient-centered health system. In this role, you will perform and oversee a full range of ultrasound exams, ensuring high-quality imaging, safety, and compassionate care. You will coordinate workflow, mentor and precept sonographers and students, and collaborate closely with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams. The Lead Sonographer supports quality improvement initiatives, maintains equipment standards, and upholds regulatory, safety, and infection-control practices while contributing to continuous learning and excellence in imaging services.
