Job description
Wellstar is seeking a Lead Sonographer to provide advanced diagnostic ultrasound services and oversee day-to-day imaging operations. This role performs complex exams, assures image quality, and supports accurate, timely diagnoses for diverse patient populations. The Lead Sonographer mentors staff, coordinates schedules and workflow, and promotes a collaborative, patient-focused environment. Working across Wellstar facilities, you will partner with radiologists and interdisciplinary teams, support quality improvement initiatives, and model compassionate care while maintaining safety, regulatory, and accreditation standards.
