Job description
Wellstar is seeking a Lead Sonographer to provide advanced, patient-centered diagnostic ultrasound services across its Georgia facilities. In this role, you will perform complex ultrasound exams, oversee daily workflow, and serve as a clinical resource for the imaging team. You will support physicians with high-quality images, ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and champion best practices in imaging. The Lead Sonographer also mentors staff, assists with training and competency validation, and participates in quality improvement initiatives to enhance outcomes and patient experience.
