Job description
As a Lead Sonographer at Wellstar, you will provide expert diagnostic ultrasound services while guiding a high-performing imaging team. You will perform complex studies, verify orders, obtain patient histories, and ensure exams meet clinical and safety standards. In this patient-centered role, you’ll collaborate closely with radiologists, physicians, and nursing teams, support staff training and workflow coordination, and promote best practices in image quality, equipment care, and infection control.
