Job description
Wellstar is seeking a Lead Sonographer to provide expert diagnostic ultrasound services and guide a collaborative imaging team across our Georgia care locations. This role performs and oversees a full range of ultrasound exams, ensuring excellent image quality, accurate documentation, and compassionate, patient-centered care. The Lead Sonographer coordinates daily workflow, mentors staff, supports protocol development and quality initiatives, and partners with radiologists, nurses, and providers to improve outcomes for diverse patient populations in a high-volume, community-focused health system.
