Job description
Wellstar Health System is seeking a Lead Sonographer to provide expert diagnostic ultrasound services and guide a collaborative imaging team. Based in our Georgia facilities, this role performs complex studies, ensures image quality, and supports patient-centered care across varied clinical settings. The Lead Sonographer mentors staff, coordinates schedules, and supports training, competency, and workflow optimization. In partnership with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams, this leader upholds safety, regulatory standards, and quality initiatives while helping implement advanced imaging practices that improve outcomes for the communities we serve.
